A specialist design and research consultancy, with twenty‑five years of wayfinding practice and academic experience. Our passion for solving complex wayfinding problems is unrivalled. The diversity and depth of our experience is exceptional.

We are happy working with architects, developers, building contractors, sign manufacturers, designers, building operators, and directly with clients.

We work with other specialists on a project‑by‑project basis and always enjoy collaborating, co‑creating and sharing our wayfinding knowledge nationally and internationally. We sit at the intersection of research, strategy and design.

Having spent six years researching why people get lost in buildings for her PhD in Architecture, Colette’s academic approach is the foundation on which we have built our six‑stage process used for each project.

Colette researched and wrote the official NHS Wayfinding guidance, and has diagnosed wayfinding problems in environments as varied as Wembley Arena, the Natural History Museum and Heathrow Airport.

Associate Professor of Wayfinding at Birmingham City University until 2025, Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation and Honorary Member of the Sign Design Society, Colette is an industry recognised thought‑leader on human navigation, wayfinding and inclusive design.
